Analisis Efisiensi Industri Manufaktur Besar dan Sedang di Provinsi Jawa Barat

Abstract: Purpose: This study aims to analyse technical efficiency of large and medium manufacturing industries (LMMIs) in West Java Province, Indonesia. Method: The slacks-based measure (SBM) data envelopment analysis (DEA) is used accomplish the objective study. output measured by total value thousand rupiahs; while inputs are: labour cost, cost materials, fuels, electricity, fixed capital cost. Results: uses from annual survey held Statistics Indonesia Central Province for period 2019. LMMIs are divided into 24 different industrial classifications following International Standard Industrial Classification all Economic Activities (ISIC) Revision 4. Result shows that among 23 ISIC classifications, five them considered as efficient, they tobacco products; leather related products footwear; paper coke, refined petroleum products, electrical equipment. Limitations: performed a cross-sectional setting. It recommended conduct similar panel setting since more information changes can be obtained. Contribution: Literature about assessing industry using SBM-DEA quite limited; therefore, this contributes literature providing such analysis. Keywords: 1. 2. 3. enterprise 5.
